Messages from Families

Noble is our special boy from Faith and Posh. He is everything we hoped for and more ...
We were blessed to get Liliana (Lili), our first Havanese from Bonneterre in 2004.  Lili was an absolute delight from the very beginning!

Jackie has had small companion dogs all of her life.  Kevin had medium sized athletic dogs as a child.

We had been searching for a small, sturdy, hypoallergenic, playful, family friendly, companion dog since we had young children at that time. Our Sheltie had just passed away, and our young children, ages 2 through 7 had always had a dog in their lives.  The children were accustomed to being very gentle with animals, so our search began for a small dog with a friendly disposition that would be excellent with children, easy to train, intelligent, affectionate, and with minimal shedding.  We had spent many years vacuuming the fur from our Sheltie, and sought a dog that did not shed.  After a significant amount of research, we decided that the Havanese would be the perfect fit for our family.

We chose to add Bella Dulce to Liliana's name because we felt that she was both beautiful and sweet.  We wanted to have a name that represented the ancestry of the breed.

Jacqueline holds Lili's first born pup, Lilac. What a joy!
Megan is tickled by the sniffing of puppy Orchid.
