Brulee & Benji had three beautiful puppies on October 25, 2015. All the pups are nursing well and gaining weight steadily. Brulee began to care for the pups immediately after each puppy was born and seemed to instinctively know what to do for them immediately. She is very calm and relaxed with the puppies, and enjoys having us spend time with her in the whelping room. She is doing a fabulous job with her puppies. Brulee greatly enjoys fresh goats milk daily from our Oberhasli does.
She is incredibly relaxed for a 'first time' mom. The pups are weighed daily, and have begun Dr. Carmen Battaglia's Early Neurological Stimulation program. Although it is typical that pups either lose a little or simply maintain their weight the first day, the puppies are all gaining quite a bit each day. Brulee is a very attentive mother to her puppies.
She is handling this first litter very well and is very bonded to the puppies.
The puppies are two weeks old. They sped most of their time nursing, sleeping, and being groomed by momma Brulee. She is absolutely wonderful with the puppies. She watches over them, sleeps with them, and cleans them with such devotion. They are beginning to toddle like puppies. Their temporary names are Sugar, Spice and Pepper.

The pups are four weeks old. They spend the day in the family room with our children and our adult dogs. The puppies listen to classical music, puppy sounds CD, and many other typical sounds in a busy, active household. All the adult dogs visit the pups often in the family room. Noble is most intrigued by the puppies and is convinced that all visitors come to our home to see him. They are all doing beautifully with using the Potty Park and Ugo Dog.
The pups are six weeks old. They continue to spend the day in the family room with us. The puppies have started going into the kitchen where they are able to interact with all the adult dogs, play with agility equipment, tunnels, and many toys. Noble has been appointed our official 'puppy sitter' since he enjoys playing with them immensely and is very gentle with them. The pups have started eating homemade food, but they still prefer nursing. They continue to do well with using the Potty Park and Ugo Dog.

The puppies are seven weeks old. Since it is unseasonably warm for December, we went outside to play in the yard. The puppies explored the leaves, steps going up to the deck, a small skateboard, chasing the adult dogs, and watching the chickens in the 'chicken pen'. The puppies like playing and interacting with Noble most of all since he enjoys interacting with them and is very gentle.

The pups are eight weeks old. They eat well, are very reliable with the potty, and love to play with the 'big' dogs. Brulee continues to be a wonderful mother to the pups. She spends a lot of time with them and still allows them to nurse on occassion. They all have at least a few teeth. They love to play on agility equipment. They all like toys and run after squeeky, rolling balls. They have been a true joy for us!
