Charlotte & Noble had puppies on June 14th, 2017.

When Charlotte was a puppy, she quickly became our niece's favorite dog in the house.  She has made it a point to bring her special gifts over the years.  She made a request when Charlotte was still a puppy that if she was kept in our breeding program, she would choose the temporary puppy names for Charlotte first litter.  We had been planning the special litter for almost two years.

Charlotte & Noble's first litter turned out so beautifully that we chose to repeat it.  When we announced that we were repeating the breeding, our niece requested giving the puppies their temporary names.  She chose a 'summer' theme.

Charlotte insisted upon resting her head near the puppies during their photographs.

All the puppies enjoy playing with cardboard rolls. June was able to take the roll from her siblings. Then, she took it to her bed where they forgot about it and she got to enjoy it without having to share it.
The pups are nine weeks old.  They eat well, are very reliable with the potty, and love to play with the 'big' dogs.  The all time favorite and most tolerant of them (other than Charlotte) is our one year old Doberman, Kalysta.  It may be that she is most tolerant because the puppies are not able to attempt to nurse from her due to her height.

Charlotte continues to be a wonderful mother to the pups.  When the puppies turned eight weeks old we thought she wanted to return to sleeping with our daughter Bethany.  Charlotte went upstairs at bedtime, then asked to return her puppies.  When they were eight weeks and three days old, Charlotte played with the puppies during their evening playtime, cleaned their faces, and asked to go upstairs at night time.  She let the puppies sleep alone in their bedroom at that time.  Charlotte continues to spend a lot of time with the puppies.  She encourages games of catch and enjoys playing on agility equipment with the puppies.

They have been a true joy for us!

One of Surf's favorite playmates is our dobbie Kalysta. Kalysta is very gentle with all the puppies, but we are very cautious because she is large and could easily accidentally step on the puppies. Kalysta is very tolerant of the puppies and enjoys observing them.

The puppies turned 10 weeks old.  They continue to spend most of their day in the family room with us and the adult dogs.  The puppies play outside daily and have been able to enjoy a wading pool filled with a small amount of water on warm days.  They enjoy interacting with our doberman Kalysta.  She provides them an opportunity to interact with a large dog that is very tolerant of their puppy antics.

Charlotte enjoys playing with the puppies, showing them how to use small agility equipment, teaching them to 'chase' her for toys, and still enjoys licking their entire face with much devotion.

It was a beautiful sunny and hot day so the puppies played in a wading pool filled with a small amount of water. Sunny took the opportunity to nibble on a pair of flip flops until we spotted her :o)

The puppies are 11 weeks old.

The puppies began their departures last week.  Charlotte has been very relaxed after each puppy has gone to their new home.  We are certain that her relaxed demeanor after each puppy departs is because she has had several days between each departure.

We are savoring our time with this precious litter of puppies!

All the puppies are accustomed to climb into the soft sided carrier for travel to their play room located on the upper level of our home. Surf decided to take a brief rest on the carrier during his play time outdoors.
